Weeks 1 and 2 are at our Pennsauken location and its a half day camp
Weeks 3-7 are a full day travel skate camp based at the air conditioned Skateboard Academy for drop off and pickups and the surrounding areas parks.
Early Bird specials now until June 1st for Pennsauken at $250 for 1st week and $150 for 2nd week.
Early bird special now until June 1st for Philly $450 for a full day full week camp with Professional skateboarder and veteran instructor Ronnie Gordon! Your camper will get the best skateboard education in the area that they can use on and off the board! He goes over concepts as a group and then works individually with each camper getting them dialed in to what they want to learn and guides them in goal setting to get the most out of the experience! For the best in instruction, education and experience look no further!
On rainy days camp will be held in our indoor facility at The Skateboard Academy. Each week is limited to 15 campers to ensure low camper to counselor ratio.
Camp is open to ages 6 to 17 years old.
Schedule: Week 1 starts June 26th, 2023 at Pennsauken Skate Park
Time: Drop off at 9:00am and pick up 12:00 noon
Weeks 3-7 are at our Philly location 3245 Amber Street. drop off is 9 am – pick up 3pm
Aftercare is available until 6:00pm for an additional fee: contact for details
Drop Off/Pick Up Location: The Skateboard Academy located at 3245 Amber Street 4th Floor Philadelphia, PA (Free parking lot across the street)
Cost per week: $450 per week (early bird special) and $500 per week after June 1st
Day rates available at $120 per day. Must register 24 hours in advance to ensure availability, maximum 15 campers per day.
Items to bring:
Own equipment to include helmet and complete skateboard. (The Skateboard Academy has a skate shop in our facility)
Bagged lunch
Individual hand sanitizer
Campers must wash hands upon arrival to The Skateboard Academy
If a camper is not feeling well or has a fever over 100.4 degrees they will be asked to stay home
Cancellation Policy:
Cancel due to sickness or injury, get unused amount credit for camp or future lessons.
Camp Rules and Safety:
We embrace the skate culture of creating a safe space and learning environment for everyone. We will not tolerate misbehavior such as bullying, cursing and fighting. If this behavior occurs counselors will mitigate the situation and notify the parent/guardian on file. Continued misbehavior and the camper will be asked to be picked up by their parent/guardian immediately.

No experience is necessary we teach all the basics to get campers rolling confidently and safely!
We return to Rizzo Rinks working with Parks and Recreation to provide the best value in skateboarding summer camps in the area!

Camp will run from 9 am – 2pm
Three weeks to choose from: June 19th-23rd June 26th-30th and August 14th-18th
This is a beginner and intermediate level skate camp for ages 5-12 (13 if with a sibling)
Monday-Friday
Every camper gets a T shirt, instruction in 4 different areas of skateboarding, camp activities and water ice at end of the week!
Bring a bag lunch and a bottle for water!
Airconditioned area for lunch and covered area for in climate weather.

We do have skateboards and helmets to use if camper doesn’t have any,
Please advise if your child(ren) will need equipment to use as we have a small supply of extra equipment.

Returning once again to the Patrick Kerr Skate Park in Abington Township for 4 weeks of skateboarding fun!
Head Instructor and the multi-talented skateboarder Jordan Griffin is ready and looking forward to getting skaters rolling once again!
The Skateboard Academy of Philadelphia is the area’s premier skateboarding camp! This program teaches beginners to advanced skill levels in all forms of skateboarding. The lessons they learn on the skateboard translate into skill sets they can use off the skateboard as well. Campers learn self-control, patience, perseverance, community, and commitment, to name a few benefits. This is an outdoor camp. Please be sure to bring water, snack, sunscreen, and protective gear. All participants will be required to wear a helmet.
